Valuable Learning in the Workplace

All VCAL students at Copperfield College undertake a Structured Workplace Learning placement as part of their VCAL program it also supports and is in line with their VET studies. Structured Workplace Learning placements assist students in developing an awareness or the skills and knowledge that is required to become an effective member of the workforce or a particular industry. Placements play a vital role in focussing students on what they need to develop and where they are headed. Students are also asked to complete outcomes during or based on their placements, so they are an integral part of their year 11 and year 12 VCAL course.
